We design automated systems in order to respond to human intervention constraints (hostile, noisy, dangerous environments) and/or quality, reliability or performance issues.
Automated machinery may include robotisation and feedback loops. The machines become “intelligent”, allowing them to adapt their behaviour according to the measured quantities.
Our robotic additive manufacturing machines are equipped with this “intelligence.” By monitoring and processing thermal data, 3D scan data, and images of the melt pool, the machine’s behavior is continuously adjusted to produce large-scale parts that meet the most demanding standards (nuclear, defense, aerospace, and aviation).

These areas of expertise can come into play very early on in the pre-project phases. We can address intersectional issues ranging from the design and qualification of a sensor to its implementation in a prototype and/or a pilot (more or less automated).
MISTRALIS is equipped with test equipment (several types of sensors, 4 robots, 1 machining machine, 1 filtration pilot unit, etc.), test surfaces (approximately 500m² overall), and highperformance inspection equipment (automation, monitoring software, etc.).
MISTRALIS has a robotic additive manufacturing machine equipped with two robots and a two-axis positioner designed for parts weighing up to two metric tons.
MISTRALIS has the capabilities to perform primary metallurgical tests during the qualification phases prior to part manufacturing.
